Years behind on bookkeeping and taxes?

Drop everything you have — PDF, CSV, or OFX statements from any bank, even a decade's worth. Felix reads them, separates the years, and rebuilds each year's books deterministically: every transaction categorized, every balance reconciled, nothing invented (§0.1).

Each year is computed under THAT year's published tax rules. 2018 income gets 2018's standard deduction, brackets, and self-employment-tax numbers — not today's. Felix carries the published federal rules for 2016 through 2026, so a 2019 estimate looks like a 2019 return, not a guess.

Honesty first: these are estimates. Past years also show the late-filing penalty and interest exposure as a labeled estimate computed from the published IRS rules (assuming the year is still unfiled); first-time abatement can often reduce the real bill. What you get is a clean, year-by-year package — books, Schedule C figures, each year's estimated tax, and a downloadable tax package — that you bring to a CPA to file. Felix does the archaeology; your CPA does the filing.

Frequently asked questions

Which banks and file formats work?

Any bank. Felix reads PDF statements, CSV exports, and OFX files — you don't need a live connection to an account you may have closed years ago.

How does Felix handle old tax years?

Each year is computed under that year's published federal rules — standard deduction, brackets, and self-employment tax as they were, for 2016 through 2026 — deterministically, not by AI guesswork.

Does Felix file my back taxes?

No. Felix produces deterministic estimates, a labeled penalty-and-interest exposure figure for unfiled years, and a CPA-ready package for each year — a CPA (or you) files the returns.

How many years back can Felix go?

A decade of statements is fine: Felix carries published federal tax rules for 2016–2026 and rebuilds each year's books separately.
